ASCENDIA INC, trading symbol ASC, informs the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the company’s shareholders and the potential investors, the following aspects related to the company:

  • Ascendia SA won the Tender for printed and digital textbooks for 5-th grade organized by the National Ministry of Education in Romania for the school subjects :
    • Social education – 5-th grade;
    • Technological education and practical applications  – 5-th grade.

Ascendia’s textbooks obtained the highest tehnico-economical scoring for both subjects, the quality of the developed textbooks being an exceptional one, as noted by the National Center of Evaluation and Examination (CNEE) specialists.

Ascendia will deliver the school digital and printed textbooks starting this fall, at the beginning of the school year. The contract will be in place for 4 scholar years.

On the long run, Ascendia will extend its portfolio with similar products, in pace with the increasing digitization level of the educational systems, worldwide.
