Important events to be reported: Launch of a private scholarship program for doctoral studies at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Bucharest University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine
The management of Norofert SA (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") informs the market about the launch of a private scholarship program for doctoral studies for the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Bucharest University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, part of the strategic pioneering partnership in scientific research concluded with USAMV in 2020. The scholarship program has a duration of 18 months and is addressed to a number of three PhD students of the Faculty of Biotechnology, involved in conducting research in the field of use of microorganisms for applications in agriculture and the environment.
The collaboration involves two directios, the first aimed at facilitating development through education and research through private scholarships, whose beneficiaries will be stimulated to continue their research in the field of microorganisms, observing new technological developments in the field, improving its role in agriculture. The program will support USAMV researchers in developing together with Norofert experts, new products to meet the needs of organic farming that will be subsequently marketed and sold in all markets in which the Company is present.
The second direction involves bringing the academic sphere closer to the technical one, through the presence of the faculty teachers at the Company's events organized for farmers and specialized associations.
