CLARIFICATIONS REGARDING THE CALCULATION BASE FOR BVB DIVIDENDS
· The proposal for dividend distribution out of the BVB profit uses as calculation base the net profit at individual (non-consolidated) level, in-line with the dividend policy published on our website, in the investor relations section.
· The dividends are distributed following the approval of the General Shareholders Meeting, based on the proposal of BVB’s Board of Directors and on the basis of the audited annual results at individual (non-consolidated) level.
The attributable consolidated net profit and the consolidated earnings per share reported in our preliminary annual results report as of 31/12/2020 are information presented based on the IFRS requirements, but they do not represent the basis for the dividend proposal.
For the year 2020, the dividend proposal will be made based on BVB’s audited annual individual results, respectively out of the net profit registered at individual (non-consolidated) level and in-line with the dividend policy published on our website, in the investor relations section.
The consolidated report is a legal requirement applicable to BVB.
Based on the preliminary annual report published on 24/02/2021, the non-consolidated net profit (BVB individual) for 2020 was RON 9.12 mil, an increase of 31% compared to the previous year. The dividend proposal will be submitted by BVB’s Board of Directors at a later date and it will be discussed at the Annual GSM.
