CONPET S.A. informs the stakeholders on the adoption of a series of measures for preventing the virus COVID-19 from spreading, the implemented measures aiming at ensuring the performance under safety conditions of the company’s business.

As of the beginning of this situation, considering the recommendations of the Government of Romania and the National Committee for Special Emergency Situations, CONPET management has implemented and trained the employees in what concerns a set of additional measures apart from the those related to hygiene and control of body temperature on entering in the company’s assets. Therefore, there have been implemented prevention and protection measures in all working sites belonging of the company, measures including: limitation of third-parties access unless absolutely necessary and on condition that they respect the disinfection rules set out at the level of CONPET, as well as a body temperature within the limits proper to a unaltered health state, enhancing the actions regarding the hygiene and disinfection of the company’s assets, limitation of displacements, as much as possible carrying the correspondence by e-mail or any other form of remote communication, deferral of the work schedule.  For providing the essential personnel needed for the performance in safe conditions of the company’s business, there has been defined a minimum number of personnel to be present at work and main part of the others, who are not involved in the transport business to be able to work from home, with payment in full of the salaries.

Concurrently, CONPET has elaborated a specific plan for the continuity of the activity under coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19); on drafting this plan we have considered the possible scenarios for the continuation of the company’s activity in case of infections with the new coronavirus.

Within CONPET it has been implemented the Intelligence Cell meant to track the implementation of the prevention measures and monitor the evolution pf the situation caused by the new coronavirus. Should the situation require, there will be identified additional measures that the company should adopt in view of prevention the spreading of the new coronavirus and for ensuring the performance of the activity.  

 

As company listed on the regulated market at the Bucharest Stock Exchange Bucharest, CONPET S.A. will continue to inform, in uniform and adequate terms, the shareholders and investors. We hereby mention that the dissemination of the information will be performed by way of classic communication channels, so that the information be quickly accessible and in a non-discriminatory manner. Also, considering the current situation, CONPET S.A. assures the shareholders that their rights deriving from their quality will be respected.

 

The company CONPET S.A. highlights the importance of using with priority the exercising of the vote by correspondence in case of the General Meeting of Shareholders, as protection measure of its shareholders under the spreading conditions of COVID-19. Therefore, the convening notice related to each General Meeting of Shareholders will deliver clear information with regards to the participation and the manner of exercising of rights within these meetings.

 

CONPET S.A. is a financially stable company, which has the capacity of rapidly and efficiently implementing all the emergency measures required for the protection of its employees’ health, as well as for the safe operation and performance of the transport activity via the Crude oil National Transport System.

Given the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), CONPET S.A. assures the stakeholders that the company will perform all necessary diligence for the continuation of the transport activity in best conditions, providing, therefore, the transport of crude oil to its clients (refineries).
